1. Zero Server Upload Architecture

Unlike conventional file conversion websites that upload your personal photographs, signatures, Aadhaar cards, and marksheets to third-party web servers, ImageTo20KB operates 100% client-side inside your web browser.

  • When you select or drop an image onto our tools, the file is read directly into your device's local Random Access Memory (RAM) using standard browser APIs (FileReader and HTML5 Canvas).
  • All image downscaling, pixel quantization, color conversion, and compression algorithms execute locally on your computer or mobile CPU/GPU.
  • No file data is ever transmitted, uploaded, copied, cached, or stored on any server owned by ImageTo20KB or any third party.
Technical Proof: You can disconnect your device from the internet (turn on Airplane Mode) after loading any of our tool pages, and our image compression engine will continue to function flawlessly.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Because all processing occurs in-browser:

  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or government ID numbers.
  • We do not inspect, analyze, or train machine learning models on your uploaded images.
  • We do not extract or store EXIF metadata (GPS coordinates, camera model, date/time) from your photos.

3. Anonymous Usage Analytics & Cookies

We may use standard, privacy-preserving web analytics to track aggregate metrics such as daily visitor count, browser type, and country of origin. These analytics are completely anonymous and contain zero personally identifiable information (PII).

We do not use persistent tracking cookies or commercial tracking beacons that follow your web activity across other sites.

4. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to official government examination portals (e.g. SSC, UPSC, Railway RRB) and educational partners such as Govt Jobs Assam. Once you navigate to an external website, their respective privacy policies and terms of service will apply.
